I get This server and i don't sympathize how i insert hdd. I see bulldoze cage PN 874977-001.  What practice i demand to insert hdds?

With the embedded controller in AHCI mode you shouldn't see whatsoever messages about a not HPE drive

I got problems with my ml150 g6 gives me an alarm sayig i demand to re-flash the bmc generic f/westward

But how do i re-flash information technology i'm unknown to it all can somebody give me an step past pace on how i tin do it past usb wink drive?

Hi,

Once you lot download the package, run the installer on Windows System.

Information technology will extract to default binder or one tin provide another location.

It will open a webpage in browser. .

Attach an USB Thumb drive to your organization and select HP USB Key Setup Creation Utility and Launch it.

Information technology will format the USB Thumb drive and will install the necessary files to it. Follow the instructions.

Once the USB is complete, adhere it to the server and boot the server from the USB key.

The firmware will be deployed for LO100 on the system.

if i follow the steps i'm at the usb key creation it gives me a device media is wire-protected whil the usb is empty

So i formated the usb to ntfs and it got it working and at present my server saud Command or filename not recognized

Hello.

I have update firmware about intelligent provisioning on my ml30 gen10 and when i press f10 on kick, it shows all time information technology is being updated and and so reboot system. I cannot to access intelligent provisioning menus.

I see this:

After this i have tried from usb kick intelligent provisioning v3.30 and now when i press f10 it doesn't try to kicking simply doesn't shows annihilation.

Whatever thought?

Issues getting into Intelligent Provisioning - DL360E (Gen8)

Hi all,

I'm currently having issues booting into Intelligent Provisioning, I've attempted to re-install using the recovery media (v1.71) and had no luck. Each time it attempts to re-install I'k met with 'Error flashing the NVRAM'.

From in that location, I've used the service switch with reboot which hasn't changed annihilation along with flashing the NVRAM via the ILO.

Inside the ILO when I check the ILO health I tin can meet; "Controller firmware revision two.10.00 Embedded media initialization failed due to media write-verify test failure".

Finally, I've installed the latest SPP bachelor to see if this would set, just too to no avail.

Any help would exist profoundly appreciated.

HPE Proliant DL20 NIC 2 Unplugged

I have a ProLiant DL20 GEN x server using Windows Server 2016 Standard OS. The server has two NICs. iLO is configured with IP Static: 15.10.254.11. Then in Windows Embedded LOM 1 Port ane with IP Static: 15.10.254.12. Everything went smoothly. After I connect the LAN cable to NIC 2 (Embedded LOM one Port 2), the cablevision is Unplugged . I think perchance a bad LAN cable. Just after checking, information technology turns out that the cable is adept . Does the iLO port accept to be disabled so that both NICs can be used?

Note:
Once plugged (on NIC 2), I prepare IP Static: 15.10.254.xiii, just it can't be accessed (it doesn't point to the host).

HP Proliant ML370 shutsdown unexpectedly

Hi,

We have this HP Server (mentioned in discipline) running in Windows Server 2003. For the past several years, it's been working without whatever effect, until recently (a few months back) when we transferred to a new office, our server shuts down causing our work to be interrupted (minimal).

Based from the LED indicators - PPM i has an Amber light and Internal Health LED is flashing ruddy which means System Health is disquisitional.

Now the issue is, given that PPM is Amber, based on data on manual, it is assumed to exist "failed", so we bought a new PPM module.

Now we installed the the new PPM (same model office btw).

Notwithstanding we're experiencing the same problem, PPM LED is Amber and Internal Health LED is flashing red.

Please help guys. TIA!

Would love to know What the warranty cover on HPE DL360 Gen 9 Server

I only purchased an HPE DL360 Gen9 E5-2620v4 1P 16G Svr/Goggle box server and I would dear to know what the warranty entails and what the warranty covers. I checked the HP support website and it was not actually articulate and detailed. I would honey to encounter more of what information technology covers. I would love to get more data if it covers the motherboard, the hard drives, the ability supply units and much more.  Expecting feedbacks

The iLO does not demand to exist disabled for NIC port 2 to exist utilized.  A host having multiple NICs on the same subnet is a bad thought for multiple reasons.

F10 and ILO Reset does not work for DL320 G8 v2

Hi,

i has a "special" DL320 Gen8 v2 server in our lab which i can not start the intelligent provisioning tool. I come across a blinking cursor but after 10s the auto starts to kicking from other devices (cdrom,hdd...)

I read a lot in the forum how i can flash the nvram merely this did not work for me either.

A allready upgrade the SSP on the blade machine and install the concluding ILO version 2.27.

- I try to flash the NVRAM by Recovery Media (HPIP171.2019_0220.23.iso & HPIP163.2016_0720.i192.227.iso) both of them fails with the same bulletin - NVRAM Flash failure.

- flashing the NVRAM by HPONFCG Tool (hponcfg - linux) the reset control (-r) works fine for me but did not solve the problem.

- flashing NVRAM by HPONCFG and XML file stucks later command was typed and executed a temporary xml config file volition be created but then nothing happens afterwards

- manually installing the provisioning version from rpm manuelly in linux works merely did not solve the problem

Is in that location annihilation i can try more or practice i have to assume that the ILO Chip is broken?

Please try reflashing IP. If the issue persists, you have accept to replace the system board for which you lot will have to log a case with Hpe.
